PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Pain Medicine Fellowship at Larkin Community Hospital is a one-year program that provides a comprehensive and diverse educational experience in the field of Pain Medicine.
The fellowship prepares fellows to meet eligibility requirements for Board Certification of Added Qualifications in Pain Medicine.
The program is designed to teach the six general competencies over one year of training:

- Medical Knowledge
- Practice-Based Learning and Improvement
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Professionalism
- Systems-Based Practice
Program Mission
The mission of the Larkin Community Hospital Pain Medicine fellowship training program is to provide fellows with high-quality and comprehensive cognitive and clinical education. This training will enable them to become competent, proficient, and professional Pain Medicine Physicians. Fellows completing this training will achieve competency in the assessment and management of individuals with acute and chronic pain, including developing skills in interventional pain management.
