PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Our residency is focused on the neuromusculoskeletal system and its relation to the various organ systems with osteopathic principles and philosophy at our core. We emphasize the relationship between structure and function as well as the concept of self-healing and self-maintenance. We must know how to diagnose and manage disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system, along with the visceral and somatic dysfunctions that may be associated with it. Our goal is to master our physical exam and palpatory skills to diagnose somatic dysfunctions, as well as master the osteopathic manipulative techniques to fix the dysfunctions we find.
