PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program has been designed with the purpose of providing comprehensive and concentrated postdoctoral training in Neurology; and its completion will provide you with the educational requirement to qualify for board certification in Neurology through examination.
The mission of this program is to provide the residents with advanced and comprehensive cognitive and clinical education of the highest quality, combining teaching, clinical service, compassionate patient care and research. Our residents are evaluated through an approach that highlights their capability to be compliant with the ACGME core competencies in the areas of patient care, medical knowledge, practiced-based learning and improvement, interpersonal skills and communication, professionalism, systems-based practice. As standards are met, residents are given superior responsibility in patient care, under faculty supervision. Upon the successful completion of the program, you will be eligible for board certification in Neurology through the American board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
