PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Geriatric Medicine Fellowship program at Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus prepares physicians to provide outstanding medical care to the elderly population through clinical experiences in different medical settings. Some of those locations are outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, home and community care facilities. Our program grants fellows the opportunity to be actively exposed to a learning and research environment that enhances their clinical skills and foundation of knowledge in geriatrics. Our goal is to produce well-trained geriatricians capable to deliver medical care in a compassionate and effective manner for the promotion of health of the elderly with adherence to best practice guidelines and able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
