PROGRAM ACCEPTANCE REQUIREMENTS

The LCH Residency Training in PM&R is a postgraduate training program of four (3) years in length, following School of Medicine Graduation.

ACGME Applicants with one of the following qualifications are eligible for appointment to Allopathic GME:

  • Graduate of a School of Medicine in the United States and Canada accredited by the Liaison Committee on Graduate Medical Education (LCME).
  • Graduate of a School of Medicine outside of the United States or Canada who meets one of the following qualifications:
    1. Has received a currently valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) prior to appointment, or
    2. Has a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. licensing jurisdiction.
  • Graduates of a medical school outside the United States who have completed a Fifth Pathway program provided by an LCME-accredited medical school.

This program has been designed with the purpose of providing comprehensive and concentrated postdoctoral training in PM&R; and its completion will provide you with the educational requirement to qualify for board certification in PM&R through examination.

Our program only accepts applications through ERAS and applicants are contacted through ERAS for interviews.
