PROGRAM ACCEPTANCE REQUIREMENTS

We have a one year unpaid fellowship that is a post-match position. It is not something you can apply for. It is selected by our PD after the match. You must have completed a PGY-1 Transitional Year to be eligible. After completion of this fellowship, you will be strongly considered for a PGY-2 spot with our program the following year.

Rotation Description: Each rotator will be granted a 2-3 day rotation at one of our outpatient clinics. Rotators are required to have passed the STEP 1/Complex 1 exam. There is a fee associated with the rotation. Your interview will be conducted on site during your rotation. You will be asked to complete a short five minute presentation on a topic in dermatology.

Applicant Details: We accept applicants who are MDs, DOs, and IMGs. We only accept individuals who are applying to dermatology during the current cycle (i.e. fourth year medical students and PGY-1s who did not match). We do not allow MS3 rotators. We do not allow rotators who are applying for different specialities (not dermatology). We do not accept applicants who have completed other residency programs (of any type). We only allow individuals who will complete or have completed a transitional year for their PGY-1 year. If you are a PGY-4 applying, please make sure you apply to transitional year programs.
